Mazda “Blacknightz” RX-8 is Tribute to Lamborghini’s Reventon!

Based on the design cues of a Lamborghini Reventon, Shawnz from Singapore has finally completed his project car, utilising a Mazda RX-8 as the base for his creation and seeking the assistance of Japanese tuners – Knight Sports, it now aptly carries the name “Blacknightz RX-8”.

Although this particular project seems to be Lamborghini and Mazda’s love-child, it has taken Shawnz roughly 2 years to complete it; since being a student does restrict access to larger funding to fast-track this creation, none-the-less it’s finally completed. And quite tastefully done might we add.

The Blacknightz RX-8 obviously gets a host of customized parts to boost its looks and frankly, with the use of the Reventon’s design cues, it does help to bring the RX-8’s visual appeal to new highs with the use of carbon fibre and lightweight FRP (Fibre Reinforced Plastic) moulds while minimizing the use of fibre glass.

Of course there are performance parts that have gone into the RX-8, and hopefully Knight Sports of Japan has graced it with enough performance to suit its new looks that includes the use of blackened alloys rims with five dual-spokes and orange callipers to complete this remarkable tribute to one of Lamborghini’s wildest and most exotic creations in the Italian company’s history.

Looks like he sealed the rear doors, making them permanently inaccessible.
