Still going strong in the luxury-performance scene, Lexus is now grabbing attention with the soon-to-be-launched RC-F. While the details of this new car are still pretty sketchy and they had only released a couple of teaser pictures of this new coupe, it is confirmed that the RC-F will have a V8 engine under the hood churning out a hefty 460-horsepower.
Lexus did not really release this information to the public, but is instead leaked information obtained from a scanned copy of their invite. The RC 350 will also be joining the RC-F during their unveiling at Detroit, where it will be featuring a 3.5-liter V6 engine with 314-horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque. The hybrid variant on the other hand will have a 2.5-liter engine mated to an electric motor, giving a total system output of 217-horsepower and 163 lb-ft of torque.
The BMW M4 rolls with 430-horsepower and is often seen as the arch nemesis of the Lexus RC-F. The battle between these two heavy-hitters will be an interesting showdown as we usher our way into 2014!
