Kuala Lumpur To Play Host to Asia Harley Days For Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary Celebrations!

Harley Davidson Inc. has teamed up with the Ministry of Tourism Malaysia as well as the Malaysia Convention & Exhibition Bureau (MyCEB), allowing them to jointly announce that our very own city of Kuala Lumpur will soon play host to Asia Harley Days (2013), beginning 14th – 20th September 2013.

This particular do is being held in conjunction with Harley-Davidson’s 110th Anniversary celebrations, allowing us to be labelled as the exclusive regional experience hub in South East Asia (SEA).

In fact, this is part of Harley-Davidson’s global tour to celebrate their 110th Anniversary – “110 Years of Freedom”, by sharing their rider’s epic experiences along with fans from all over the world. Ranging from the Tibetan Plateau in China to Sturgis in the United States; Rome in Italy to Faaker See in Austria, this event will be the culmination of a year-long, global celebration taking place across 11 countries on six different continents.

The reason why Malaysia’s been picked simply hails to the fact that we’re in a strategic location within SEA and with the great support coming from our very own Ministry of Tourism Malaysia and MyCeb, Malaysia is being recognized for our huge tourism potential since we’re going to be playing host to Asia Harley Days.

The event in mention is free and open to the general public and will be taking place at our very own Kuala Lumpur City Centre (KLCC) and will include members from the Harley Owners Group (HOG) from around Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia including more from those around the world who would like to take part in the numerous planned activities that will include a flag parade, numerous promotions, exhibitions, displays, demo rides as well as a riding tour from Kuala Lumpur to Terengganu and Penang. H.O.G. members, the event includes a welcome dinner, special access, promotions and deals throughout the week’s events.

MyCEB’s role in this is to support the international lifestyle events in order to help further strengthen Malaysia’s position as the preferred location for special events, further indicating that there could be as many as 5,000 foreign attendees landing on our shores with the potential to draw in roughly RM50 million for the Malaysian economy.

To date, the motor company has shared four epic 110th anniversary experiences via the site, as well as Harley-Davidson social pages, driving thousands of engagements from fans around the world.

The website, which will be updated with new features and content, also includes details about all of the motor company’s 110th anniversary events.
