Much like fashion, it’s either in, or out and it seems some do enjoy implementing designs that evoke memories from the past, much like how ItalDesign GiuGiaro has gone about its business creating the Parcour – bringing it back from some distant future where cars looked like what they did back in the muscle-car era of the 1970s.
Although painted in bright red, there’s something dark – almost sinister about it, especially from those inserted front head-lamps, skinny rear lights, seemingly raised clearance and those Gullwing-like doors; especially those fat looking rims and those definite get a triple thumbs-up if we were born with one.
The Parcour’s long snout for a front hood hides beneath it an engine that’s been taken from a Lamborghini Gallardo’s 5.2L V10 with 550bhp distributed to all four wheels and blessed with the ability to dash to 100kmh in 3.6s with a top speed of 320kmh and a ride adjustable dial in the cabin that’ll give you either 13″ or 8.2″ of clearance as well as a dial for four driving modes encompassing Comfort, Off-Road, Ice and Track.
Apparently, the Parcour has in total 8 shock absorbers – 2 at each corner, utilising a either one of the shocks to raise or lower the ride-height and depending on the other set of four shocks to handle the bumps.- minus the bruises.
With in cabin, the Parcour utilizes plexiglass for its dashboard with touch panels for controls that leads to a 7-speed twin-clutch automatic transmission with either Auto and Sport modes.
