Famous for their tough multi-purpose vehicles – Isuzu Malaysia brings the grand debut of the limited edition version of their best selling 4×4 pick-up truck dubbed – the D-Max X-series. Limited to only 300 units, the X-series will run as the top of the range truck on the brand’s line-up offering head-turning looks and the rugged styling to match.
This limited edition vehicle carries a few styling cues to differentiate itself from the standard edition. The most obvious being the strongly-accented body decals which runs all the way from front-to-back, giving the all-purpose vehicle a touch of style. At the same time, the exterior features an aerodynamic package that comes in the form of a new bumper, the special X-series front grille and a bespoke rear cargo spoiler. Offered in only 2 colours – Magnum White Solid and Stallion Black Metallic; this limited run 4×4 sets to offer motorists – “a new level of breakaway individuality that will move the senses and the soul”.
The limited-edition D-Max X-series will be powered by a 2.5-litre turbo diesel that produces 136bhp and 320nm via the Variable Geometry Turbo System (VGS) that extracts the highest performance off the engine whilst offering absolute fuel efficiency. This powertrain is mated to a 5-speed automatic transmission to give the users ease in usage and drivability.
The interior features an upgraded in-car entertainment system via a 6.2-inch screen that displays a navigation system and multimedia player and a reverse camera for some modern day ease of use. The cabin also features a two-tone leather seat trim giving this car a sporty feel that hopes to excite the driver on every drive.
