Honda Malaysia has just announced that their Honda City model has managed to achieve a 5-Star rating in Adult Occupant Protection as well as the highest safety ratings in Child Occupant Protection in the ASEAN New Car Assessment Programme (ASEAN NCAP) crash test as indicated by the Malaysian Institute of Road Safety Research (MIROS) at the ASEAN NCAP open day in Ayer Molek, Melaka; where a total of eight car models were subjected to an offset frontal collision test at a closing speed of 64 kmh.
In fact, all Honda cars’ safety standards and crash-worthiness do meet the UN Economic Commission of Europe (UNECE)’s R94 and R95 regulations. To further celebrate their milestone achievement and in welcoming the 2013 Water Snake Lunar New Year, Honda Malaysia is now offering a Chinese New Year Promotion for both Honda City 1.5L S and E variants.
New owners of City assembled in 2012 can opt to enjoy a free instalment subsidy worth RM3,500 or receive RM2,600 Chinese New Year Bonus Rebate. Both options come together with a RM2,013 Prosperity Packet, to bring the total ‘ang pow’ value up to RM5,500.
