Other than the intimidating 2014 GT-R Track Edition that Nissan had brought down for the 2013 Chicago Auto Show, the Nismo line up was also expanded with the appearance of the all new Juke Nismo crossover. And while this Nismo version looks far better than the original Juke, the changes are not limited to only the exterior.
Before we have a peek under the Juke Nismo’s hood, the new body kit it carries does not only serve for the looks as it provides up to 37-percent more downforce than the stock Juke. One could also find LED Daytime Running Lights, contrasting side-view mirror covers and wider fender flares to accommodate the larger 18-inch wheels.
On the inside, the Juke Nismo’s steering wheel is wrapped with alcantara for a better grip, and the Nismo seats are given a sportier touch with red accent stitching. Powering this pimped out Juke is the turbocharged 1.6-liter four-cylinder engine that cranks up 197-horsepower and 184 lb/ft of torque, almost 10 more than what you could find in the standard version.
Buyers will have the freedom to choose either to have a six-speed manual transmission or CVT gearbox, and the same goes whether to have it in either all-wheel drive or front-wheel drive. With such unique looks and the exceptional performance it offers, the limited color choice of white, black or silver would not be that much of an issue.
