Honda Malaysia has just unleashed their best urban MPV – the Honda Freed, that’s offers spaciousness, a stylish design and advanced quality features through enhanced driver and passenger comfort.
The improved version of the Honda Freed is an ideal car for the young professional urban families, who aspire for a quality lifestyle, to which Honda Malaysia Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Yoichiro Ueno said that it “is a product that maximizes the joy of driving for Malaysian motorists. The latest Freed is a Completely Build-Up (CBU) unit from Indonesia, having sold over 2,500 units since its launch.”
Currently, the Freed features a number of enhancements such as the a 5-speed auto transmission powered coupled to a 1.5L i-VTEC engine. Within the Grade E Freed, plush leather seats have been installed while the introduction of an armrest for both sides are available in both Grade E and Grade S with the driver’s seat receiving a height adjuster to enhance a driver’s comfort levels via individual preferences.
The best part about the Freed is its unique flat floor design to allow passengers to move easily within the vehicle as well as for easier loading and unloading of cargo with a low tailgate opening. The Freed also comes with Dual-SRS airbags up front as well as G-Force Control Technology (GCon), Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD), Advanced Compatibility Engineering (ACE) and Anti-Lock Braking System (ABS) for this 6-Star Japanese New Car Assessment Program (JNCAP) vehicle.
With the entry level Freed S costing RM99,800 OTR, it comes in your choice of Brilliant White Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Crystal Black Pearl; whereas the Grade E Freed, costing Rm113,500 gets Brilliant White Pearl exclusively as well as the other colours previously mentioned.
In terms of warranty, Honda Malaysia provides the Freed with a 5-year or sixty (60) months warranty with unlimited mileage, from the date of registration. This unlimited mileage warranty is applicable only when regular preventive maintenance is performed as per required intervals. Customers are also entitled to a Free Service Coupon (FSC) to enjoy up to six sessions of free labour charge during service. The FSC coupons are applicable for the 1,000km; 10,000km; 30,000km; 50,000km; 70,000km and 90,000km mileage services.
