Evo X Sings to a Tune of 353bhp and 487Nm by Ryan Gates Who calls it the 311RS

One of the most popular Mitsubishi cars, and not to mention their most celebrated, is the Evolution range and here’s something circuit racer Ryan Gates came up with using the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X as his base and masterfully creating what he thinks the Evo X should be with his 311RS creation by blessing it with 353bhp and 487Nm of torque.

Taking about three years to develop the 311RS Evo X, Gates has come up with something that he believes to be the perfect blend of both a track car as well as an everyday road car.

Gates has swapped out the standard intake, intercooler and exhaust system for something more performance friendly from AMS Performance that’s allowed the 311RS to be tuned to a potent 353bhp and 487Nm of torque.

To handle all that output, a JRZ suspensions RS1 system has been installed in the handling department, along with a braking system from Girodisc to take care speed bleeding, while a set of blue 18″ custom RAYS Volk CE28 rims wrapped by high-performance Nitto NT05 tyres compliments the looks.

And to personify it’s already good looks is a full body kit where a front air-dam ups the aggression ante, as does the stock rear-wing that’s gotten an extra lip perched upon it while dressed in a blue and white racing livery. The interior is decked out in etnies e-suede that has three times the durability over traditional suede.

Gates plans to produce just 11 examples of the 311RS and will be retailing at USD$49,000.
