AMG Reveals Their Tricked-out A45 Edition 1

Last week we saw the unofficial reveal of the Mercedes-Benz A45 AMG, but it so happens that there’s another sportier version that AMG has decided to keep extremely tight lipped about – their Limited Edition A45 AMG Edition 1, which comes with some custom styling cues for both the interior and exterior – just for the first year of it being in the market.

The A45 AMG may be splashed with a ‘Cirrus White’ paint job, but it also sports an off-set racing stripe in matt graphite grey that extends from the bonnet, roof and sides.

The aero-package comes in the form of little wing-lets at the front as well as a rear-wing as well as a more prominent front lip to make the standard A45 AMG rather sedate.

And just to add a little more psychological ferocity to it all, the side mirrors, front grille, brake callipers rear wing have been splashed with some red paint for accents while the car sits on blackened 19″ rims – also with red centre caps and wrapped by 235/35 rubbers.

As for the interior, black is obviously the main colour, again accented by red stitching for its AMG Performance Seats, wrapped in ARTICO man-made leather and DINAMICA microfiber, with some red plastic bits around the air conditioning vents.

Although the Edition 1 looks every bit quicker than the A45 AMG, no performance gains have been implanted, utilizing the same 355bhp 2.0L turbocharged engine.

However, the A45 AMG Edition 1 can still be further individualized with additional cost options not yet mentioned, such as AMG carbon-fibre exterior mirror housing, 19″ rims painted in titanium grey with high-sheen finish, AMG Night package; that includes privacy glass, black anodised waistline trim strip, black tailpipe trims in chrome finishing, radiator fins in silver chrome and high-gloss black painted finish for front splitter.

There’s even an AMG Performance exhaust system that will include the tailpipe trims in a specific design, up-rated AMG Performance suspension, an AMG Performance steering wheel and E-SELECT lever, electronic key with an AMG emblem and AMG wheel bolt covers in black with hub caps in central-locking look (for standard AMG light-alloy wheels only).

Now how say you about the Edition 1’s new tricked-out looks from AMG?
