FAB Design Springs their MP4 Chimera Ahead of Geneva!

Next month will have the Geneva Motor Show open their doors and many manufacturers are hard at work looking to create some hype about what they’re bringing to the show, but so are tuners looking to bring their goodies for all to see and get some attention headed their way too. One such tuner would be FAB Design, keen on showcasing their latest offering with the MP4 Chimera – obviously based on the McLaren MP412-C.

Next month, we’ll get to see FAB Design’s idea of what a tricked out MP4-12C should be and calling it the Chimera – from the Greek mythological creature, which sees it carrying a few design changes as well as slight increase in power.

Aesthetically, the Chimera gets carbon fibre parts, and quite rightly so. With a restyled front lip, hood-mounted wind splitter, side skirts, air-intakes, a new apron and diffuser; giving the Chimera some proper good looks.

Moving into the cabin, carbon components are still on the menu, but this time it gets a little citrus effect with several orange carbon components, decorative orange stitching for the many upholstery options available on request that extends to include personalized floor mats in the package as well.

Rather than retaining the MP4-12C’s original twin exhaust piping, FAB Design has gone so much as to provide an additional piping that’s helped bump its power output level up by 15bhp.

FAB Design is slapping on a 16,900 Euro price tag for their full upgrade kit and this will also accord you a set of either 20″ or 21″ 3-part FAB Evoline rims, wrapped by Michelin Pilot Super Sport tyres.
