Berlinetta and Huayra Meet at Modena for a Little Dance

Two of the latest high-powered V12s meet for a few laps around Modena, both in the 6.0L displacement category and both capable of running the century dash in just over 3 seconds. A meeting between an Italian Prancing Horse and an Incan ‘God of the Winds’ – a Ferrari F12 Berlinetta and a Pagani Huayra .

The Huayra (pronounced: why-rah), has a 6.0L twin-turbo V12 from the AMG, mounted mid-ship delivering 730bhp and 1,000Nm of torque and playfully displays its flaps as it gets thrown around corners, equipped with Pirelli P Zero Corsa rubbers, making the Berlinetta seem rather static, for any car in that respect.

On the other hand, with a set of Michelin Pilot Sport tyres, the Berlinetta’s front-mounted naturally aspirated 6.2L V12 with 740bhp and 690Nm of torque take it to 100kmh in just 3.1 seconds – 0.2 seconds faster than the Huayra.

Two cars of great beauty and performance, converging upon Modena just to show off their sheet metal/CFRP, the way they dance while singing their song.

The Huayra sounds awfully abhorrent , it hide the musical beauty of the V12 with the twin turbo
