A Fleet of 11 Supercars Auctioned Off for Just 3.1 Million Euros?

Back in 2011, the French government had launched a massive raid against the son of a notorious African dictator, Teodoro Nguema Obiang Mangue who owned a massive fortune which includes a fleet of 11 supercars. Apparently someone struck a hell of a deal as all those cars were already auctioned off with a mere price tag of 3.1 million Euros (RM 13 million).

You might have heard of this report and also seen the video of the French authorities hauling cars like the Maserati MC12 onto a normal car hauler, so you should have the idea of what type of cars we are talking about. The Ferrari Enzo, 599 GTO, the aforementioned Maserati MC12, Porsche Carrera GT, Aston Martin One-77 and a handful of other supercars is a part of the fleet which is topped off by two Bugatti Veyrons.

And to make things worse, court documents revealed that the 11 cars shipped into France back in 2009 from the US is actually from a larger fleet of 26 exotics. But since then, a lot of them had been transported to Equatorial Guinea.

RM 13 million is actually a very alluring deal, considering that cars like the Veyron, Enzo and MC12 is in the list. But whether those funds will be channelled to help the poverty-stricken people of Equatorial Guinea is unknown, but we doubt that such will ever happen.
