The battle rages on for team FXPrimus Aylezo as the second round the Lamborghini Blancpain Super Trofeo Asia series sets its wheels on their home ground; Sepang International Circuit. Set to redeem the unpleasant ending the team had to endure back in Shanghai, the 5.543km circuit should not be a problem for the two drivers as both had won countless times on this Malaysian circuit.
As a display of their confidence in Round 2, the Qualifying sessions went on without a hitch. With Sepang giving its usual sunny weather and the haze now nowhere in sight, team FXPrimus Aylezo managed to clock a respectable 2:13.328, earning them the fifth spot on the grid for the first race on Sepang International Circuit.
In the second qualifying session, the team would have to wring out a bit more as with a time of 2:16.323, team FXPrimus Aylezo secured the eighth position on the grid from the 18 cars participating.
Round 2 should also be an interesting showdown as there are now a couple of local entries spicing up the race. But instead of being a barrier to reach the top spots, the encouraging result from the qualifyings should give team FXPrimus Aylezo Motorsports the edge in conquering the circuit once more, only this time in their new Lamborghini Gallardo Super Trofeo race car.
