With some of the countries having only 1 or 2 Supercars in the fleet, it must seem like a dream to imagine a whole fleet of Supercars being used specifically for the Police Force. But making that dream into a reality, the Dubai Police Force has gained massive recognition for having one of the fastest and most expensive fleet of Patrol cars in the world.

Adding to that fleet this week is a brand spanking new McLaren MP4-12C that will be representing the public security division, patrolling popular tourist sites like Burj Khalifa and Jumeirah Beach in Dubai. Dubai’s Police Chief, General Khamis Al Mazeina expressed that the new addition will be beneficial for security reasons – as and when these fast cars will be able to use its speed to its advantage.

Just last month – the Force added 4 new top-of-the-range luxury mobiles in the form of Mercedes-Benz SL63 AMG, Nissan GT-R, Brabus G63 Wagon and a 2nd unit of Audi R8. With the addition of the McLaren 12C, it will count as the 13th high end Supercar in their fleet of ‘Super Patrol Car’.

If your dream is to driver these multi-million Supercars, then the Dubai Police Force has got to be in the bucket list of dream jobs. As of now, the 13 cars count for other ‘hyperspeed’ vehicles like the Bugatti Veyron, Aston Martin One-77, Lamborghini Aventador and a Ferrari FF. There is no other police force like it in the world, and the officers who gets to drive these vehicles are one of the luckiest people in the world.

Of course all these Supercars are presented to demonstrate the country’s position of wealth and used as a status symbol. Undoubtedly many would take it as unnecessary ‘waste’ – but think again.. if you can; why not right? We look forward for more additions in 2014 – we are thinking something in the lines of a LaFerrari or McLaren P1 perhaps? who knows…
