VW Shows How The Jetta’s Keyless Entry Can Become an Inconvenience

That’s right, the excuse you that your dog ate your homework didn’t work and it still doesn’t work – but it happens. As Volkswagen puts it, it really makes it an inconvenience rather than anything else when your dog does really eat your car keys.

This new VW commercial that advertises their keyless entry for the Jetta shows a dog sitting quietly as his owner frantically searches for his car key before getting noticed.

The owner, having his suspicions, decides to see if his dog really ate the key to his Jetta by getting into the proximity sensor’s range to unlock the car doors – and it does.

That’s not all the key can do, it also helps to roll up the windows and shut the sun roof (if there’s one) as well.

But the real test comes if and when the key finds its way out of the dog, which will require you to perform some repugnant sifting. Let’s hope it will survive the journey through the dog’s innards as well as some thorough cleaning.
