UMW Toyota Motor has just announced that they have begun taking orders for their upcoming Toyota Fortuner Improvement 2012, which began on the 13th August 2012.
The Fortuner comes in four guises, two of which are diesel variants with a 2.5L displacement engine that’s mated to the usual 4-speed automatic gearbox and the entry-level 2.5G pricing starts at RM172,000 OTR. The second diesel variant comes in a TRD Sportivo trim which requires an additional RM3,458 over the standard diesel Fortuner.
The 2.7L petrol variants also come with a standard 4-speed automatic gearbox and pricing starts at RM179,007.10 OTR, where an additional RM3,458 is required to get it with the TRD Sportivo trim.
The TRD Sportivo Trim get you outfitted with Toyota’s Premium Security and Solar Film, a DVD-AVN Package and a Roof-mounted monitor with DVD Combo – perfect for those seated in the rear for a long inter-state journey.
However, for those who have gone without the TRD Sportivo trim, these items are also available as optional extras, the only difference is that as long as you’ve opted for the DVD-AVN package, you get a choice as to whether you’d like your roof-mounted monitor to come with a DVD combo or not.
Last but not least, both diesel and petrol variants are available with 4 colours to choose from – Dark Steel Mica, Silver Metallic, Medium Silver Metallic, and Solid White.
