The Exagon Furtive eGT Impresses “Ring Queen” Sabine Schmitz!

With the market now slowly being filled up with electric cars from various manufacturers, EVs are gaining a steady momentum in becoming one that could move properly fast. While the Audi R8 E-Tron had already set an impressive benchmark for EVs at 8:09.099, here comes another one that thinks that they could do a better job.

It is called the Exagon Furtive eGT. And while this might be your first time hearing such name, do not jump into a speedy conclusion that it is just another boring and drab attempt in electrifying the sports car as this one actually has the looks, somehow vaguely resembling the Aston Martin V8 Vantage.

The Furtive eGT also has some impressive numbers in its performance sheet. Powered by two motors developed by Siemens Corporate with each having an output of 125kW or 340-horsepower combined, 0-100 is dealt in just 3.5 seconds and is able to reach a top speed of 287km/h, but is electronically limited to 250km/h.

So it got both the looks and power, but how does it ride? For this task, the Furtive eGT was taken to the daunting benchmark test track known by mankind, the Nurburgring’s Nordschliefe with none other than the “Ring Queen” being behind the wheels, Sabine Schmitz. Surprisingly, the Furtive eGT was gliding around the Green Hell and even received some positive responses from the Queen! With a great suspension setup coupled with excellent tires and responsive brakes, she made no ease negotiating the countless corners in serious speeds.

Yet to be revealed to the general public, the production model of the Exagon Furtive eGT will be making its public debut at this year’s Paris Motor Show in September.
