Ther 19th ASEAN Banking Conference and 42nd ASEAN Banking Council Meeting is about to be held from 7th – 9th November, 2012 right here in down-town Kuala Lumpur. The biennial forum helps to bring about the formulation of ideas and strategies in order to achieve the objectives set by ASEAN Bankers Association.
Hosted by the Association of Banks in Malaysia this year, our very own Bank Negara Malaysia will be officiating this year’s conference and will be presenting the keynote address with speakers that will include the likes of Dato’ Seri Abdul Wahid Omar (Chairman of the Association of Banks in Malaysia and President and CEO of Malayan Banking Bhd), Datuk Seri Nazir Razak (Group CEO of CIMB Bank), Tan Sri Dr Mohd Munir Abdul Majid (Chairman of Bank Muamalat Malaysia Bhd) and En Mohamed Faiz Azmi (Executive chairman of Pricewaterhouse Coopers).
The official distributor for Peugeot vehicles in Malaysia, Nasim Sdn Bhd, will be providing 10 units of the 508, which will consist of the 508 Turbo S, the diesel-powered 508 GT and the 508 SW GT. These vehicles will be used to transport the respective heads of delegation of the ASEAN countries throughout the duration of the event and both the conference and council meetings will be held at Sasanana Kijang, Bank Negara Malaysia.
