NAZA KIA Re-Opens Setapak Outlet as New 4S Facility!

Official distributor of KIA Motor vehicles in Malaysia, NAZA KIA Malaysia Sdn Bhd, has re-launched one of their outlets in Setapak to become a fully fledged 4S (Sales, Service, Spare parts and Spray paint) facility after having invested RM4 million in terms of upgrades to the site by adding a new body and paint facility, a customer lounge, service advisory area, meeting rooms along with KIA’s new logo and space identity.

The large investment was part of an extensive network upgrading exercise undertaken by NAZA KIA Malaysia this year to incorporate KIA’s new Global Space Identity that began with the launch of the flagship KIA Red Cube site in Petaling  Jaya back in late December 2011.

Since then, their network upgrading activities has seen an expenditure of RM34 million just to refurbish 16 of their branches to be in line with this new direction that places a strong emphasis on design.

The branches that have been upgraded thus far in this year alone has included Bangsar, Melaka, Puchong, Glenmarie, Penang, Langkawi, Juru, Ipoh, Jalan Pahang, Alor Setar, TTDI, Miri, Kuching, Chan Sow Lin and Kota Damansara. Further plans are now in motion to have NAZA KIA Malaysia invest up to an additional RM6 million just to launch new branches located in Rawang and Kuantan as well as an additional RM10 million for a new KIA Red Cube in Johor Bahru – to become the company’s second flagship outlet and a first for the southern region.

So far, KIA Malaysia boasts of having sold over 10,500 untis (13% higher than the same period last year) as at 31st October 2012, with the top three major contributing models being the KIA Forte 6-Speed with 5,500 units sold followed by the all-new KIA Sportage (1,410 units) and the all-new Optima K5 (1,370 units).

In addition, during the re-opening of the NAZA KIA Malaysia Setapak 4S site, the company announced it would be the first company in Malaysia to utilize Petronas’ Tutela Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) XP-4 for their vehicles, where the ATF fluid has been specifically formulated to suit the 6-speed transmission requirements and specifications in KIA’s vehicles – particularly the Forte 6-Speed, all-new Sorento, all-new Sportage and the all-new Optima K5.
