Tian Siang Premium Auto Butterworth is the second BMW 4S (Sales, Service, Spare parts and Systems) dealership for BMW Group Malaysia in the state of Penang, which is situated strategically within the Northern Corridor and looks set to provide BMW’s products and services to customers in Penang and throughout peninsular Malaysia’s Northern Corridor.
Speaking at the opening of the new 4S Centre, Chief Executive Officer of BMW Group Malaysia, Dr. Gerhard Pils, said, “We are pleased to be able to serve our customers in Butterworth and the surrounding areas of the Northern Corridor with our partner, Tian Siang Premium Auto. Tian Siang Premium Auto are no strangers to the BMW brand and the premium segment of the Malaysian automotive industry, having established themselves as our representative in the state of Perak in 2007 as well as the Juru Autocity at the end of 2010. Now, with a complete BMW 4S facility with the latest BMW standards for future dealerships here in Butterworth, we are able to offer our customers in the Northern States of Peninsula Malaysia with the latest premium experience from BMW.”
As of October 2012, BMW Group Malaysia has experienced a 20.5% increase in sales when compared to the same period last year; having sold 5,611 vehicles versus last year’s 4,658 units, which comprised of BMW, MINI and Motorrad ranges.
The new Tian Siang Premium Auto BMW 4S dealership facility occupies 23,000 square feet, and is the first BMW dealership in Malaysia to feature the latest standards and specifications set for the BMW Group’s dealerships of the future.
The facility has the capacity of displaying up to eight vehicles with eight service bays that offer comprehensive service and repair as well as houses a customer lounge with BMW’s latest trademarked Isetta Bar, sales discussion rooms and meeting rooms.

Tan further remarked that as the state of Penang and the Northern Corridor continues to grow from strength to strength, Tian Siang Premium Auto’s key objective over the years ahead would be to further develop and improve its BMW business through the delivery of outstanding services to its customers in the area.
“Since establishing Tian Siang Premium Auto at the Juru Autocity in 2010, we have already gone on to deliver over 350 BMWs in the area. Our new BMW 4S facility here will see us extend our capabilities with the BMW Group to offer BMW Premium Selection in the future as well. With this new dealership, we are aiming for over a 10% increase in our sales and service capabilities in the coming year,” said Tan.
