McLaren to Open Dealership in Indonesia Next Year

McLaren’s new Italia-hunter supercar might be a mouthful to pronounce, but it is nevertheless a great technological achievement done by the same guys that had created the record-breaking and still much loved F1. And set to tighten their grip to the growing demand in Asia, McLaren is set to go head-to-head with the other big names by opening their first dealership in Indonesia.

Run by PT Mega Performa Indonesia and set to open in early 2013, the new McLaren Jakarta will be set up to the highest standards, hosting not only as a showroom but also be equipped with an official service center manned by skilled technicians trained at McLaren’s headquarters in Woking, UK.

The opening of this new showroom will join McLaren’s Asia-Pacific established network which includes other retailers in Hong Kong, Singapore, Sydney and another two in Japan. For the time being, McLaren has two models to be offered; the MP4-12C and the Spyder version. These two will soon be joined by the new hypercar, the P1.

“McLaren Automotive is committed to delivering excellence to our customers, in ground breaking design and techniques in combination with high quality construction, all the way through to the sale and maintenance of our high-performance sports cars”, said McLaren Automotive’s Regional Director for Asia Pacific.

“PT Mega Performa Indonesia has extensive experience in servicing Indonesia’s luxury automobile market and has a reputation for delivering exceptional after-sales service, which were key considerations for us when selecting a partner”, he added.
