Kimitoshi Kurokawa, CEO of Isuzu Malaysia, is confident that their new range of Isuzu trucks will be able to offer business operators the necessary performance, efficiency and durability in helping to reduce operational costs.

Isuzu Malaysia now offers two variants of the sixth-generation 700P FVR with different load capabilities. Their new cab and chassis design has a strong emphasis of improved ergonomics, rigidity and comfort that’s ideal for that long-range haulage. Isuzu F-Series FVR trucks now join the existing FTR range, which caters for short-medium haulage business owners.
Launched with the FVR were the Road King Hi-Power NKR and NPR models, which are new additions to the Isuzu N-Series truck range. Equipped with better performance and approved as Euro 2-compliant trucks, these new additions are ideal for taking on challenging terrain and heavy-duty loads.
At current, Isuzu Malaysia has recorded a healthy demand of its trucks with sales of 3,268 units in its first full year of sales since its introduction at the end of 2010, commanding a market share of 25% of the light-duty truck segment. Their sales expectation for this year has grown to 6,350 units for their commercial vehicles, especially with the introduction for their new range.
Isuzu Malaysia expects their versatile Isuzu N-Series trucks will make up about 45% of their 2012 sales target, through its 30 outlets found nations-wide.
