Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd has announced that the 9th Generation Honda Civic has received more than 6,000 bookings as of October 2012. Since its official launch back in July 2012, almost 4,400 units have been sold thus far and has kept the 9th Generation Civic at the top spot of the non-national mid-sized sedan segment, with a 30% market share as of September 2012.
Having been developed based on the concept of an “Advanced Smart Sedan”, the All-New Civic features a series of new technologies including a futuristic cockpit and a 5” intelligent Multi Information Display (i-MID) to promote smart and efficient driving. It is also Honda’s first non-hybrid model with Eco Assist function to assist drivers in achieving better fuel efficiency.

The latest Civic Hybrid in the range is the first model in Honda’s hybrid line up that comes with the premium stance – smart entry and push start button. It is also the first hybrid model in Malaysia to be fitted with a lithium ion (Li-ion) battery, which reinforces Honda Malaysia’s position as the pioneer in hybrid technology.
Recently, Honda Malaysia’s hybrid sales have already surpassed the 10,000 units mark, further boosting its stand as a leader with a stronghold in hybrid technology.
As part of its plan to create a wholesome experience for customers, Honda Malaysia had introduced a new service package to offer a brand new ownership experience. The new and attractive after-service package includes:
1. 5-year warranty with unlimited mileage including IMA battery*
2. Extension of preventive maintenance interval from 5,000km to 10,000km
3. Free labour service up to 6 visits for every alternate paid service until 100,000km

Currently offering the most diverse range in the industry, the All-New Civic features a few variants that cater to fulfill different customers’ needs. The All-New Civic is available in 1.8L, 2.0L, 2.0L with NAVI as well as Civic Hybrid priced at RM115,980, RM131,980, RM136,980 and RM119,980 respectively.
All-New Civic petrol variant is available in Alabaster Silver Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Taffeta White. Hybrid variant is available in Frosty White Metallic, Crystal Black Pearl, Polished Metal Metallic and Taffeta White. Current waiting period is between 1 to 4 months upon booking, depending on variant booked.
