GIVI Showcases New Box and Helmet Carrying our Malaysian Flag!

GIVI Asia Sdn Bhd, purveyors of motorcycle accessories, has always placed safety as a priority – remaining committed to its principle of providing products that help protect the well-being of their customers in more ways than one. One these ways is to also provide the motorcycling fraternity with products that makes riding a lot less cumbersome, especially with a securely mounted box that’s capable of stowing a full-faced helmet. And with that, GIVI launched their a new motorcycle box, the B27N Clack Box with a revised locking mechanism and a limited edition M50.0 Malaysia Boleh full-faced helmet.

The Clack Box has been designated with the B27N code on the interior (Indicating B for Box, 27 litres and N for the colour Noir or Black) and is constructed of durable PP material with a newly revised and seemingly more convenient closure system of a “one-click opening/locking” or MONOLOCK mechanism that’s been designed with a small handle to lift the cover with ease. The box is able to adequately fit a single full-face helmet or you could simply and securely stow away a maximum of 3kg worth of items.

GIVI boasts that their new box now guarantees ease of use with high reliability and durability for a hard case that’s able to be mounted on a variety of bikes and will be the definitive item that’ll prevent you from returning to your motorcycle, only to find that your helmet and/or raincoat have been inappropriately taken. Items which are undoubtedly vital to riding a motorcycle, at least in this neck of the woods.

The box will be readily available at your nearest GIVI store by sometime next week for a price of RM135 a piece.

In conjunction with the launch of their latest Clack Box, GIVI also took the opportunity to unveil their new full-face helmet offering that is their M50.0 Solid White Malaysia Boleh helmet.

The helmet is fashioned somewhat alike to a jet helmet, with a rather protruding chin bar that could almost be mistaken for dirt-bike helmet and its shell is made of techno-polymer, which proudly displays the colours of the Malaysian flag while sporting the words “Malaysia Boleh” to stir our patriotism. However, rest assured, the new helmet is ECE22.05 certified and carries with it our very own JPJ approved sticker at the rear.

Ventilation from the front of the chin-bar directs air directly towards the face and the vent can be closed using a slider located at the back of the chin-bar within the helmet and two more sliding vents are located at the brow of the helmet that should allow for some airflow management and a small spoiler can be had at the rear.

The guts of the helmet use a removable and washable anti-allergy material and the removable visor is 2.2mm thick that’s anti-scratch. All of which gets strapped onto your noggin with a snap release buckle instead of a double-D ring and seems to fit rather true to size. If you’re comfortably a medium on say an Arai RX-7 or a Shoei X-Eleven, then fitting your head into this helmet shouldn’t be a problem, let alone owning this one with a price tag of RM280.

The GIVI M50.0 Solid White Malaysia Boleh Limited Edition Helmet will be made available towrds the end of November 2012.
