In conjunction with the release of Christopher Nolan’s third Batman film on both DVD and Blu-Ray over in the UK, the Nissan UK Division had responded with a special vehicle built with inspiration gathered from the Dark Knight. Although we were hoping for it to be a darker version of the GT-R, but this one-off special edition Juke Nismo is not that bad either.
This Dark Knight Juke still has the same 1.6-liter turbocharged inline-four that produces almost 200-horsepower in the Nismo edition, but it had received a makeover that Nissan claims “will make the driver feel just like Bruce Wayne”. The first thing that will catch the eyes is the stealthy matte black paint job inspired by the Tumbler.
But of course it would not stop there. Nissan had also thrown in a couple of extra touches to make the Juke more Batman-ish like the shark fin antennae, red accent stripes that one could see from the 1966 Batmobile, aluminum bat badges on the front and the rear, and a set of gloss black 18-inch alloy wheels.
And how much will Nissan charge for all these extra stuffs? Nothing. This “Dark Knight Rises Juke Nismo” will instead be offered as the grand prize of a special competition called “Builttothrill” that runs all the way to February 28th 2013, where contestants could stand a chance in winning this one-off Juke by simply taking on the Thrill Test at http://www.builttothrill.co.uk/.
