BMW Group Malaysia welcomes the fourth 4S Motorrad dealership that’s located in the East Coast of Peninsula Malaysia, Kuantan. Chear Motorrad is currently a subsidiary of Chear Motor (H.Q.), and is one of the largest distributors for motorcycles, accessories and parts within Malaysia.
Speaking at the opening, Chief Executing Officer of BMW Group Malaysia, Dr. Gerhard Pils, said “We are pleased to be able to now serve our ever growing customers in the premium motorcycle segment here in Kuantan and throughout the East Coast of Malaysia with our new partner, Chear Motorrad. Kuantan and the surrounding states continue to grow as an important market for BMW Motorrad, contributing over 20 motorcycle units annually. Now with a more established facility, support and convenience of this new dealership, we are confident that we will be able to significantly grow our presence here over the next year.”
And grow they will after having seen a marked increase of BMW Motorrad’s sales performance in the country by 27.5% as at October 2012, when compared to the same period last year.
The Chear Motorrad BMW 4S dealership in Kuantan is housed within a new three-storey building, occupying an area of 9,500 sq ft, enabling them to display up to 22 motorcycles alongside the dealership’s integrated sales offices and dedicated Motorrad service bays. There’s even a unique biker’s lounge to help further enhance the BMW premium customer experience.
