The 7 Series High Security model has been reinforced to a class-VR7 armored sedan that doesn’t seem like it with the naked eye and the X5 security is rated at VR4. To give you some idea of the rating, which ranges from 1-9, a class VR4 vehicle is capable preventing bullet penetration from a .44 Magnum. However, the i3 Concept has been designed specifically for use in urban areas where emission reduction is the main concern – even in areas such as airports, check-points and while on patrol.
