Shell Helix ‘Get Your Heart Racing’ Contest Concludes – Lucky 5 Headed for Italy! – Zerotohundred

From an initial 14,000 entrants, the numbers were slowly trimmed to the final 12 and last weekend was the conclusion to the ‘Get Your Heart Racing’ contest that was organized by Shell Helix, which took place at Berjaya Hills Resort, Bukit Tinggi, Pahang. Now 5 lucky winners will be headed to Italy for an all expense paid trip worth RM20,000!

Each contestant faced:

– Kite-assembly

– Searching for a Chinese coin in a sandpit

– ‘Teh-tarik’ pulling

– Dribbling a football or shooting penalties

– Shooting paint-ball targets

– Identifying pizza ingredients or clothing items

– and a small test on general knowledge.

While each challenge seemed simple enough with each task completed successfully or each correct answer given, a single mistake could have you faced with a deduction of 2 points as we soon found out, with members of the media having been given he opportunity to try out those challenges.

The contest was held from 15^th March to 31^st May, 2012 and it was open to customers who purchased a 4L pack of Shell Helix Ultra fully-synthetic motor oil or any motor oil from the Shell Helix HX7 synthetic technology range (HX7, HX7 E and HX7 Diesel). After which, each contestant was required to count the number of Shell Helix words in an image on an entry form and submit the entries at selected Shell stations, authorised workshops or by mail with proof of purchase.

For these lucky five winners, it will be their first time entering the Euro-zone that will see them away from 6^th – 10^th September 2012 and their entire trip (worth RM20,000) will also include a visit to home of the ‘Prancing horse’ – Maranello, shopping in Milan and finally being able to watch the Italian Formula 1 Grand Prix at Monza.
