From the previously posted “Hagwalah” or the Saudi drifting videos post, we could easily come to a conclusion that the phenomenon is nowhere to be called safe, or even humane. Of course, any form of aggressive driving on the streets could never be considered as safe, but drifting uncontrollably on the busy public roads filled with spectators at the sides with cars that are not designed to be handled as such will only invite an unimaginable disaster that almost definitely will involve the word “death”.
Since this nuisance is getting out of hand with the rapidly-growing number of these drifters, the Saudi government had lined up a serious punishment as a stern warning and to put an end on it for once and for all; to be beheaded by sword. And the first one to be receiving such punishment is a drifter in his thirties, only identified as “Mutannish” or in English, “he who ignores”.
Of course, it does not go with the concept of “You drift, you receive”. The drifter was being sentenced to death because he had caused the deaths of two onlookers during one of his wild rides, and fled the scene without providing any assistance. And this was not the first time he committed such crime, as he was already on the wanted list for causing the death of an onlooker at a previous event.
Maybe the beheading part is a bit extreme, but this “hagwalah” phenomenon is really something that should be put to an end at this instant. It will only be a matter of time until some guy decides to take it up a notch and drift with something larger and much more dangerous, let’s say, a truck. One could only imagine what the damage will be like if they crash into the crowd of curious onlookers at the side of the roads.
I wonder this is caused by lack of other forms of entertainment for the Saudis.

Not only they are careless with other people’s lives, but with their own. Obviously the below driver and passenger not wearing seatbelts.
they are FF… ..and they aren’t drifting.. it’s just power sliding. Drive high speed, yank the e-brake and stir your car vigoriously while maintaining forward momentum, then you slide. any cars can do that regardless the drive.
