The Bugatti Veyron may be the ultimate hypercar of our generation and will probably continue being so for a few more generations but it too, like the Mclaren F1, will meet its match and will succumb to the test of time. So what’s next? I would say that it’s safe to assume that another Bugatti will take it’s place but that’s just speculation. But if that does happen, then John Mark Vicente – a Canadian graduate of the Communication Design program at the Emily Carr University – has an idea of what the next ultimate Bugatti hypercar will look like.
These are his renderings of the Bugatti he calls the Renaissance. The conceptual proposal speaks almost the same design language as the Veyron but the differences are more than obvious. In fact, only the infamous horseshoe front grille and the width and stance of the car are reminiscent of the Veyron, everything else is new. It’s a gorgeous looking car, but I’m not too sure about the rear though, it could do with more design work. The single square exhaust just has to go but it’s just a design study for now.
