Porsche first introduced the 918 Spyder at the Geneva Motor Show, and has been going on about it ever since lending to rumours that the German supercar builder was rather serious about building it. This continues with Porsche once again hinting at its production goals for the superhybrid with this latest advertising campaign calling the supercar “the future of motorsport and series production”. There can’t be a bigger hint than that.
There’s a second video posted after jump highlighting Porsche’s new 911 GT3 R Hybrid which managed an impressive sixth-place finish in its racing debut. With the existence of these two cars and the onslaught of marketing campaigns, could this just be the beginning of a new era of super-hybrid-cars ?
