Underground Racing has produced some pretty extraordinary tuning packages for the Lamborghini Gallardo’s but this is probably their wildest yet – a 1500whp twin-turbo package.
The package is supposed to be able to take the Gallardo up to a 400km/h and to put this to the test they took their own Gallardo Superleggera fitted with the package to The Texas Mile. There the pilot, under the watchful eye of the team, took the Superleggera to a very impressive 403km/h. But that was only after three attempts, on the first round, the pilot, Richard Holt, spins out after putting down too much power too fast.
