It was only a matter of time before this happened, it has long been rumoured that Lexus will be offering several variations of its LF-A supercar and this is the first to be released, a lightweight, stripped, harder and faster LF-A (as if the standard LF-A wasn’t fast already but I guess there’s no such thing as fast enough).
According to reports, the new LF-A will be called the Nurburgring edition – paying homage to the legendary track where the LF-A cut its proverbial teeth. The new LF-A is said to benefit from a large, fixed rear wing, a splitter up front, a stiffer and more adjustable suspension, lightweight alloys, and an increase of 10hp likely derived from a revised exhaust system.
Also differentiating it from the stock LF-A, the ‘Nurburgring’ will be offered in four paint options which include, glossy black, matte black, orange and a yet unknown fourth colour. That’s all there is so far on the new LF-A but watch this space over the next few days.
