Ford Focus RS Does A 8:26 At The Nurburgring

Jason Plato dubbed it the best front-wheel-drive car in the world. It has received numerous praises from some of the world’s top motoring journalists. It’s fast. It’s gorgeous. It’s green – in colour that is. The Ford Focus RS is no stranger to motoring enthusiasts, in fact it is probably one of the ultimate hot hatches available today. EVO magazine pitted it against the Megane R26.R and the Renault was trumped, albeit for being a little less comfortable but the Focus RS truly is a modern hot hatch. 300horses. Turbocharged. LSD. What else could you want in a hot hatch? Here is Horst von Saurma-Jeltsch, Chief Editor of Germany’s Sport-Auto tearing up the Nurburgring in a green RS (seems like it’ll be a sin to have it in any other colour). He manages a very respectable 8:26. As always, don’t expect Ford to officially offer this car to us Malaysians. But also as always, we could just rely on the grey importers.

This car should only be in Blue! The reference of should be in green is based only from the fact because of the rally car. Other than that, the first RS focus was always blue first, green later.
