Fast vs Fastest: Nissan GTR vs Bugatti Veyron

The fastest car in the world vs the one car that shook up the supercar market single-handedly. The Bugatti Veyron needs no introduction and neither does the Nissan GTR. Put these two giants against each other and you don’t need to be a nuclear physicist to figure out which is faster, even when the Veyron needs to play catch up from a standing start against a GTR that’s already in its stride, the answer is well, not so obvious is it? There’s still some element of doubt there so EVO Magazine UK pit these two modern giants in an extraordinary showdown of might and power. The purpose of this video is, well honestly, to show you how freaking fast the Veyron really is (as if we don’t know already).

gtr: Contrary to what you may believe, the GTR is not god's automotive gift to humans. And the Veyron may very well be thrashed by the GTR on a race track, but then again, outside of Japan the Nissan is not supposed to properly 'work' unless uncorked and hacked... right?

C'mon... give the Veyron its credit.

So what is the point of this test???. It is obvious that Veyron will be faster in a straight line cos look at the massive engine it has compared to the puny 3.8 V6 of GTR.

True super car should have balance of power and handling.
I wonder what will be the result will be if tested in a closed track?.

Then again this is stupid comparison cos just look at the price difference between the two.

GTR is Bang for Buck without doubt....

Evo Magazine should should make a video comparison of a Satria Neo CPS competing with a Mclaren F1. I reckon that'll be a wise choice to make.........
C'mon, Veyron is running at 8.0L, 4 turbochargers, and 2 V8 engines. GTR at 3.8L, twin-turbochargers, and one V6,. Veyron has two or more of each criteria. What do you expect?

Hence why its titled 'Fast vs Fastest'. The vid is to highlight the awesomeness of the Veyron compared to an already insane godlike Nissan GTR.

Very true, i like to see the veyron pitted up against the very pinnacle of super cars, the Mclaren F1. Displacing 8.0L with 16 cylinders and four turbos, it can only manage 10mph faster than the Fastest N/A V12 car in the world that was designed in the the 80s n built in 1990s? not to mention the fact that inorder to exceed 231mph, the veyron must come to a complete stop to lower the car before doing a 231+mph run while on the mclaren you just floor the pedal until it max out. 15 yrs worth of technological advancement, 4 extra cylinders, and 4 turbos, and the veyron just barely best the F1? here a scenario i like, so your cruising down an empty highway in your veyron and th2 f1 pulls up, both you pedal to the metal, who is gonna win? should the f1 come to a complete stop and wait for the veyron to lower itself before raing?
