In the world of Formula One racing, there are only two teams that went from racing to building road-going supercars, the rest just hopped onto the bandwagon just cause they can and are able to afford to do so. Well with that in mind, it doesn’t take much to figure out what sort of buyers the new Mclaren MP4-12C is aimed at. It’s positioned only slightly higher than the 458 Italia and thus will cost slightly more, but this is a car that comes from the only other very successful Formula One team and gives the Mclaren fans who could never afford a F1 a chance to own a Mclaren road-car, rather than the more traditional choice of Ferrari, Porsche or Lamborghini.
