Marcus Gronholm teamed up with Motor Trend and Ford to recreate rallying’s legendary Climb Dance video. The result is a gorgeous new short film chronicling the rally champion’s 2009 ascent of Pikes Peak in Ford’s new Fiesta RallyCross. The video features some breathtaking scenes from various in and on-car camera, it also really shows how close the drivers get to the edge of the drop offs and how big your balls need to be to actually race up Pikes Peak in a 800hp Ford. Also posted after the jump is the original Climb Dance film of Ari Vatanen’s 1988 record-breaking Pikes Peak Hill Climb run in his Peugeot 405. Enjoy.
