The new TT-RS is a new episode in the life of the Audi TT. Finally there’s a RS version of one of the most desirable Audi’s today but things just got better. Avus Performance, another tuner among the many, has unveiled a new tuning package for the Audi TT-RS.
It’s officially dubbed the “new Ur-Quattro” and features a modified ECU, a revised turbocharger, and of course a high performance exhaust system with racing catalysts. It may all sound very regular but the change enables the 2.5-liter five-cylinder engine to produce 460bhp and more than 639Nm of torque. The “Ur-Quattro” does the 0-100 in 3.8-seconds and top speed is rated at an equally breathtaking 312km/h.
Just for comparison, the standard TT-RS has 340hp and 450Nm of torque; runs from 0-100 in 4.6 seconds and is electronically limited at 250km/h.
Avus also equipped the car with an adjustable coilover suspension, a matte black vinyl wrap and gloss black 20-inch Sportec Mono wheels wrapped with 255/30/20 Hankook S1 Evo tyres.
