Test Drive Honda Cars And Get Rewarded

Honda Dreams Fund Searches For Its Next 20 scholars

Continuing their commitment, Honda Malaysia Sdn Bhd and its partner, the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) recently announced the opening for new applications for the Honda Dreams Fund, the third year since its launch in April 2007.
With 40 scholars today enrolled in the courses of their choice and taking the first step towards achieving their dreams, 20 more will soon be given this similar life-changing opportunity. The Honda Dreams Fund (HDF) aims to provide full and non-binding scholarships to 20 underprivileged, but determined students annually to pursue higher education or skills training. Read more

Word is BMW is planning to develop a two-seat advanced green supercar dubbed the Z10 ED (Efficient Dynamics – a package of BMW’s fuel-saving system combined with enhanced performance). It is understood that the super beemer will be an advanced green super that will showcase BMW’s engine power technology without harming the environment. It’s the product of the company’s secretive Technik division which was responsible for bringing to life such cars as the Z1 and the Z8 straight out of its workshops. Read more

MIT Student Alters Road Signs – Raises The Living Dead

Malaysian construction companies are not really in the habit of using these electrical sign boards to warn motorists of danger but you do encounter one once in a while. Now what would you do if you came across one that said “Zombies Ahead”. Well, that’s exactly what one MIT student did when he got his hands on a unprotected electronic signboard. Apparently, these sign boards are not well protected by any substantial security measures and changing a sign only requires the ability to type. Currently in its fifth year running, the World Car of the Year competition is back for 2009 and the jurors have finalised their 11 finalists. The WCoty is determined by the votes of over 50 journalists from all over the world including Malaysia (‘(00) is not part of the jurors). Some of the finalists include the Nissan GT-R, Jaguar XF and the Honda Jazz and Audi A4. Due to a tie for 10th place, there are 11 finalists this year. Judges will next narrow their choice to the top three by March 9 and the winner will be announced at the New York Auto Show on April 9.
