Worlds Fastest Rolls Royce

01quickestrollsNo, it’s not a chop. It’s a 1970 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow built by Joe’s Street Rod Shop. Poking out of the hood behind the Spirit of Ecstasy is a blown 572-ci Chrysler Hemi that is NOS fed to a more-than-adequate 1,350 horsepower. The car has all of the luxury touches you would expect from a Roller, including full leather, Vintage Air A/C, four TVs and a jar of Grey Poupon. Underneath it’s a full tilt boogie runner with a Chris Austin chassis, Air Ride, Wilwood brakes, full tubs and Billet Specialties Riviera wheels. It even has a leather-swathed trunk with matching coverings for the batteries, fuel cell and NOS bottle. Notice the leather wrapped roll cage inside as well, a very elegant touch, and one that sums this sophisticated beast up perfectly.

Badly composed. If this RR ever reached British soil, this car should be and will be sent to hell by Jeremy Clarkson.

You let Jeremy review this, i'm sure he will be impressed. In some way. The big horsepower (he likes those), and British branding (Obvious reasons). He is not all against American & Japanese cars too. The first thing he would complain is the lack of frontward view. I could imagine his words now which probably goes like this,

"The idea of the Americans and their big V8 with huge overflowing superchargers might make sense on the drag strip. But here its just erotic! Like a mans unzipped zipper flapping in the air announcing his manhood!"

And probabaly be all gussed up happy when he drives this thing on the Top Gear drag strip. Stig probably can't make use of the car much. And they could probabaly compare it with some of the drag cars that have been on the show.
