What’s Wrong With This Video?

gumball3000We really cant make sense of this video taken during the recent Gumball 3000 only this past Sunday. Here are the facts, owners of really expensive supercars are driving on a highway in California, expensive supercars usually make people turn to look even while driving, so a bunch of nice cars zoom by and suddenly the guy in the Ford that’s hauling the trailer looses it, fishtails a couple of time and ends up flipping over. Who’s to blame? The Lamborghini that you see in the video gets all the bad rap.

We and the guy’s from CarScoop have watched the video over and over again and still cant understand what actually happens. So we thought we’d share it with you and see what you think.

dont think it had anything to do with the lambo. he was nowhere near the donkey when he started to fishtail.

Have any of you seen Top Gears's caravan tours? Take notice that the caravans can only be towed within its speed limits. I'm sure the guy over exceeded the speed limit. And the caravan starts to wobble. Hence making the driver panicked.

Cars with towed caravans should not reach more than 100km/h with or without load. You should remember there is a pivot point between the caravan and towing vehicle. Also the wheels of the caravan is not motor powered and hence a little imbalance in between wheels would cause such predicament.

Blaming the supercars. I would say partly. Because cars like these make other drivers supceptible to bad driving concentration. Either speeding or another.

the only supercar tat i can see clearly is a F430 le.. mana lambo??
the lambo is infront of the ferrari??

wut i think is u guys have a pair of good eyes..how could u all tell frm d video tht d car speeding away was a lambo or f430??

i think it was a f430...try to look carefully at the tail lamp...correct me if i'm wrong...

wow!

you need rocket science to solve this!

perhaps the dinglearm on the swinglerockerator on the ford came loose, hence causing the contractorator to fail.

imagine that same situation in Malaysia, everybody would stop and make a traffic jam all the way to rawang.

i think that the driver of the ford wuz a gurl. The way 'she' stepped on the brakes made the car lose its grip and balance. If 'she' wasn't towing the caravan, 'she' might not have flipped over.

in front of the F430 was a lambo with light colour if u see carefully

EndG, Yes we have good eyes thank you. Well look from start, the caravan supposed to be on the slow lane is travelling the same speed as all the other cars. Lane 1-3 all same speed. Between all cars they have 2-3 cars gap between them. The caravan not speeding? Also find in youtube Top gear caravan tours. Where they used a Kia Rio to pull one. And when they hit almost 50mph, the caravan wobbles just like that. Only less than 50km/h not even 55 not even 60. And you look at this video it is being pulled by a V8. Not speeding? Hah!
