The first production model of the Bugatti Veyron Grand Sport bearing chassis number 001 has been auctioned off at the Pebble Beach Concours on Sunday. With all proceedings going to charity, the Bugatti was sold for an obnoxious US$2.9million. For the record, a standard Bugatti Veyron retails for around US$2million, so an additional US$900,000 for the privilege of being the first to own one is totally worth it, I wouldn’t mind if I had the money, plus its for charity, the car is just a plus point.
The pictures below show the answer to all the questions on what a owner would do if it suddenly starts to rain, its called the emergency umbrella and the owner will just have to latch it in place, very nifty. Catch the video for the entire auctioning and sales process.
