The Mitsubishi Lancer Register (MLR) – an organization for the owners and enthusiasts of the Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution in the UK created a new World Record of having the largest parade of Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution cars.
The event took place at Castle Combe Circuit in Wiltshire, England and was supported by Mitsubishi Motors in the UK. The cars went into the track and were driven for the required 2 miles (to be qualified as ‘parade’) of the circuit at a constant speed – in colour co-ordinated formation – making this a truly incredible sight.
Over 270 Evolutions took part in making the history. The organisers of the event also took the opportunity to raise a significant sum of money for charity with every driver generating personal sponsorship. Furthermore, Mitsubishi Motors are added their weight to the event by not only being present on the day with a number of their own dealer and Head Office vehicles, but by also made an additional and significant donation to charity.
