Korean Manufacturer is 5th Biggest in the World

600-hyundaiForget the Germans and Japanese: it’s Korean models that are in demand! Last year, Hyundai/Kia shifted 3,961,629 cars to become the world’s fifth best seller.

That’s according to statistics from the Automotive News Global Data Book, and compares to the marque’s ninth place in 2000. It puts it ahead of established firms such as Honda, Nissan and Chrysler, and just behind – in descending order – Toyota, GM, Volkswagen and Ford.

Ranking for top car manufacturer:

  1. Toyota
  2. GM
  3. Volkswagen
  4. Ford
  5. Hyundai / Kia
  6. Honda
  7. Nissan
  8. Chrysler

Meanwhile, Kia has launched two cool new special editions to add to their range; The Picanto Chill and Rio Chill.

Korean cars and Malaysian cars the quality are just the same ... but korean are good in selling their car.
