Wanted: Malaysia’s Next Rally Champion

The organizers of the Malaysian Rally Championship have stepped up their efforts to develop rallying at the grass-roots level. They will be launching a reality television program to find the next star rally team – driver and co-driver. To be called “Malaysia’s Next Rally Champion” the show will be aired from October to December 2008.
Details:
o Open to Malaysian citizens between 18 and 30 years of age
o Participants to register as a team – driver and co-driver
o Registration fee RM50 per person (RM100 per team)
o Participants must possess a valid Malaysian Driving License
o Participants must not have previously held a Competition License
o Participants to fund and provide their own transport to all training sessions and rallies
o Cars will be provided by WSM throughout the course of the programme
o Participants must pass a series of tests upon registering for the programme
o The winners will be announced in December 2008
o The overall winning team will granted free entry into the MRC 2009 season and will be encouraged to contest the six rounds

This is werid program as the driver pays for everthing to go and try the car, and win the entry fee only for 2009!? what bout the drive for 2009???
seems like a very dogdy prize for the champion..
Is the winning team going to get a sponsorship on their machine and mechanics or are they required to fund for themselves? Rallying is not cheap.

i like rally but i dont hav a rally spec car… duh//…
