Volkswagen Scirocco R32 - Teaser Shot

So while we wait for a few years and then wait some more for the Scirocco to make it to our soil, Volkswagen are already teasing the world with this image of the Volkswagen Scirocco R32. The image says it all really, the darkened image presents a silhouette of what seems to be a beefed up Scirocco sporting the same projector headlights as the standard. The bold blue R in the reflection is the trademark of Volkswagen’s performance badge, pointing towards the sporting intention of the Scirocco R32, and according to the guys at AutoBlog, the Scirocco R32 could even share its design with the Nurburgring racer, the GT24 pictured below.

But maybe sometimes you don’t need a big blue R to speak about sporting intentions, all you need is the key to it, and if VW permits, the same 247hp, 3.2 liter VR6 engine and 4Motion all-wheel-drive as its brother, the Golf R32, see then, you can let the car speak about its sporting intentions, and we can trust VW to deliver because the original Scirocco definitely did, but we Malaysians might have to wait a while though, we’re not even getting teased with the standard Scirocco yet, what more being teased with the R32.
