Video: Blind Belgian’s Record Speed Run

This was out in the local papers a few days ago and we now bring you the videos. Belgian Luc Costermans who was blinded in an accident four years ago, piloted a Lamborghini Gallardo (borrowed from supercar rental agency GT Drive) to a new blind speed record of 308km/h on the Istres airstrip in France. It is an amazing feat but one that is likely to be challenged by former world record holder, Mike Newman. The videos are not in English but it gives us a chance to share Luc’s joy. Hats off to Luc and we wish him all the best in his future attempts, if any.
