Sportier, Sleeker & More Masculine VW Beetle

One way or another, many people love the VW Beetle, although most just can’t get over its ‘cute’ and feminine styling. Knowing this well, the new Beetle will attempt to deviate from the ‘chick car’ image attached to it in the previous years. VW designers have been ordered to create a sportier, more modern and sleek style for the next-gen Beetle.
To create a more upscale and full modern look and style, VW designers will utilize sleek and elegant body parts to enhanced its hi-tech auto equipment. To improve handling and driving experience, it is rumored that the new 2010 VW Beetle will be sharing a platform with the next-generation Golf and the new Scirocco.
The cutesy bug-eye and roundish shape will be discarded in favor of a more aggressive and more traditional style with a sportier stance and coupe-style roof. The new Beetle will also be made bigger than the current model and will make better use of the extra interior space for better practicality.

agree with skyancient… but actually VW really need to do a facelift for the beetle earlier coz the trend are changing way too fast…

side view is ok laaa, a bit longer ……but the front like same only…..
Scirocco is nicer tho’ ….

Should just ask VW to make a rear engined version of it ….. again. The last one was ok. But the engine is at the front. Not much of a handling thing too.
Impressed with the way how the hide the bulbous roof with black color on top. Giving the impression the car is slimmer. But at the same time giving me the impression of a Mini. Also lost is e a twin exhaust pipes just like the original.
As usual most owners would probably embelish it with Herbie style colors or some things.
