No one would argue that TopGear is currently the most ‘entertaining’ automotive show around. It began in 1977 as a conventional motoring magazine show. The crazy antics, originality although sometimes non-relevant approach of the trio of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May have created great interest in the weekly UK show since its relaunch in 2002. They have won many accolades and awards, partly the reason why the magazine is selling well too!
TopGear is watched by millions of people worldwide, but only a few of them are lucky to watch them live in the studio. Apparently, if you want to be a part of those lucky few, then you must wait an astonishing 21 YEARS to attend the show. That’s right, there are already over 300,000 people on the waiting list to attend the TopGear show. If they were to be lined up in a queue, it would be 235km long and the line would be moving with a top speed of 0.001km/h!
